Our electricians have extensive troubleshooting capabilities. When replacing a light socket make sure you follow safety precautions. Use the same rated socket as came with the lamp or chandelier. The power needs to be turned off or the lamp unplugged before you work on it. Cut the wires on the old socket and then strip them to be about half an inch bare. Connect old and new wires with wire caps and put in attach new socket.
